Best birthday experience The customer care was amazing from the moment we arrived. We were given a warm welcome and this care continued through our our stay. The food was delicious. The entire place is serene. Overall I had an amazing time for my birthday. I highly recommend.

Excellent Gateway from the city Authentic, Beautiful setting and quiet! Sentema Farm Lodge is the ultimate place to escape Kampala city, its just 25 minutes drive from kampala. The environment is peaceful, clean and food is fresh & delicious. I highly recommend to anyone looking for place not far away from kampala and yet peaceful and cozy.

Serene, beautiful and therapeutic ✨️ The pictures do not do this place justice. It was really beautiful with so many plants, birds and fresh air. It was serene and we felt one with nature. The staff was friendly and the proprietor was on ground the weekend we were there, which made us feel more at home. The room was aesthetically pleasing with a modern yet natural set-up. The chef outdid himself as we loved every single meal. I loved lounging by the pool and just getting sun-kissed. The only downside was that our bathroom didn't have water for the duration of our stay... something to do with the water pump and electricity. The staff, though, apologised and tried to make up for it. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful and serene it is and I enjoyed my staycation.

Luxury meets nature I stayed with friends at Sentema Farm Lodge for one night and fell in love with this place. It’s less than an hour outside of Kampala, yet it feels like a completely different world. The main hall alone is a feast for the eyes. With so much love put into the details and the comfy inviting couches, I could easily have spent the whole day there. The cottage itself was spacious and luxurious, absolutely quiet and with a beautiful bathroom (try this incredible well smelling shampoo!), big beds and a terrace for the morning coffee to chill. The garden is simply amazing, and the pool is stunning. If you're lucky like me, you might even meet one of the other tenants of Sentema Farm Lodge – Donatella the turtle! There's also a stylish community space further down, where you can learn to cook the delicious local food with the lovely ladies from the community. The attentive and friendly staff made sure my friends and I had everything we needed – from a yummy BBQ to a filling breakfast. Don’t miss the poached eggs on avocado toast! Extra plus point: this place is serious about sustainability and its love for nature 💚 I can’t wait to be back!

Hidden Gem Near Kampala I spent a night at Sentema Farm Lodge to celebrate my birthday with a group of friends, and it was such a special experience. The place is absolutely beautiful—surrounded by nature, with so much attention to detail in every corner. It’s one of the most stunning yet affordable places I’ve stayed at in Uganda. The rooms are stylish, super comfortable, and we all slept really well. The pool was a highlight—very clean and perfect for relaxing or spending time with kids. The restaurant and lounge area are beautifully designed, creating a cozy, laid-back atmosphere. The food was fresh and delicious and the staff were really welcoming, and made sure everything ran smoothly. It’s less than an hour’s drive from Kampala, which makes it such an easy and convenient getaway. We had an amazing time and are already planning to come back. Sentema Farm Lodge is a true gem—peaceful, beautiful, and full of charm.

Outstanding Lodge and Experience This lodge is absolutely beautiful, gorgeous swimming pool, lovely rooms and fabulous service! We spent a friends birthday at the lodge, and the staff went above and beyond to make it a special occasion. The food was excellent and the room modern and elegant. We loved Sentema Farm Lodge I stayed with my family and we had a wonderful time. The lodge, especially the gardens, is beautiful. Everyone that loves to spend time outdoors will definitely like this place! We enjoyed the pool and the kids had a lot of fun swimming and playing in the garden. The staff were all very kind and attentive. We will definitely come back.
